I am Ruthie, a pictorial storyteller painting tales of country ways, olden days, folklore, myth and magic, surrounded by beauty here in South West Scotland.
It's never too early for Christmas, at least for me! My favourite Christmas Carol was the one with George C. Scott. Did you ever see that one. I watch every year!! ooh, you've got me excited now!!
Very cool, Ruthie. I like the candle-like ghost with the flaming head. The Christmas Carol is such an enduring story. Dickens surely hit a universal chord.
Hi Ruthie, What a great looking film. It is going to be wonderful for Christmas... I enjoyed your previous post too. The fairy costumes are so detailed. You can tell a lot of work went into making them. I especially love the hats! I'm going to try and see the exhibition today in Bath Abbey!;) See you soon. Jo.x
oh my goodness, that looks amazing. I now want to see it too. I miss out on knowing what movies are coming out since I do not have a TV. I feel amazed at the skills of Hollywood at this point in time.
I have loved every version of this old story I have come across, including my two favorites "Scrooge" & "The Muppets Christmas Carol" fond memories! I look forward to another good show. Thanks for the info, Kat
