  7. Beautiful Ruthie, your wedding looks gorgeous, and what's more important I think, you designed it and did a lot of it yourself. I honestly believe that makes for a much more special and personal occasion than handing it over to 'experts' to do everything. I did the same with my wedding, down to my own stationery as you did...and it's still the best wedding I've ever been to, and most of my friends and rellies tell me the same thing! Had a laugh about your lovely shoes too...I had a gorgeous pair that were the most expensive part of my outfit...but I swapped them for a pair of dancing shoes (quite a lot like highland dancing shoes actually) because we had an Irish band and I simple couldn't dance to that in heels!!!

  15. thank you all, i was just a wee bit proud of this.

Alaine - i miss visiting too, there are just not enough hours in the day! i am having to try & be strict with my time or i should never get any work done & get lost blg hopping all day ;-)

Christina - it did make the day so much more precious, and we both felt it was a day for our families & friends too & loved making it all good for them. WE had a scottish ceilidh band & that is exactly why my shoes wouldn't do, i only thought of that afterwards. x
