catching mermaids . . .

mermaids have been swimming through my dreams lately
i have doodled, scribbled & sketched them on & off
but nothing clicked, then all of a sudden
last night for the first time in oh so long
i had such an urge to just paint
and im so very glad i did

  5. Very beautiful Mermaid! Thank you for your kind comments on my blog, I am enjoying looking through yours, and will be back for sure. I love the name of your blog, and why you named it that. If only everyone took the time to slow down and really appreciate each and every day.

  8. I love your drawings Ruthie...especially this mermaid. Here is a little story for you... just 2 days ago I bought my 4 year old a little tiny 2" tall metal mermaid that we are going to put in our secret garden. I wanted to make her a special spot in the center of a mandala so she wouldn't get lost... Isn't that weird? We must be guided by the same little angels... or faeries! PS. Thanks for coming by my blog : )
